Arrows set to release goalkeeper Mbaeva

Maximillan Mbaeva’s off-field misdemeanours have could cost the Namibian his place at Golden Arrows next season, sources have claimed.

The goalkeeper was Abafana Bes’thende’s No.1 a few years ago but a source has claimed that his behaviour cost him his place.

“He had a great future ahead of him and there were big teams monitoring him but they stopped once they realised he had problems. It has got so bad that he is skating on thin ice even at Arrows and has been given a last chance to change his bad ways or be released,” claimed a source.

Mbaeva is said to be into the nice life in Durban and enjoys spending time with friends having a good time more than he does being on the field.
