Shabba is said to be unwilling to stay on in Turkey if his team Erzurumspor are relegated which now looks a serious possibility.

“He hasn’t been getting much game time and he feels it is useless for him to stay on at the club because he is nearing the end of his career and needs to play as much as he can. He enjoys the game and wants to contribute but the situation is bad right now,” said a source.

Cape Town City and Bidvest Wits have been touted as possible clubs where the 2010 Fifa World Cup star might end his illustrious career if he returns home.
