Out-of-favour Chiefs midfielder seeks loan move

Siphelele Ntshangase is looking for a loan move away from Kaizer Chiefs in an attempt to get game time and get back to his best.

A source close to the player said he feels he is not in coach Ernst Middendorp’s plans for the season.

“Ntshangase is a special kind of player but if you look at it, he doesn’t fit into Middendorp’s style and he will be better served going elsewhere. He wants a loan move and I heard Cape Town City have shown interest while Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows are also options,” said the source.

Ntshangase has not had much game time since Middendorp took over and was recently told to shape up or ship out.

“It is unfair because he is not a defensive player at all. He is expected to be a box-to-box midfielder, which is what he is struggling to adjust to,” added the source.
