Niang hoping to help Stellenbosch win promotion
Senegalese striker Mame Niang wants to help Stellenbosch FC gain promotion to the PSL.

The former SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns striker was unveiled by Stellenbosch as their newest recruit last week.
Niang has registered first goal in a Stellenbosch jersey when they beat Jomo Cosmos 1-0.
“There is competition for positions, we have another game to work on, and then we have AmaZulu at home so hopefully we can get another result against them. I am looking forward to getting three points. South Africa is like home for me, and I love this place (Stellenbosch) I even got married here. I hope I help the team gain promotion”
Stellenbosch are currently third on the NFD table, which qualifies them for the play-off at the end of the season.
