Thanda not tiring on their way to the PSL

Thanda Royal Zulu are not tiring and will keep collecting points until the end of the season, coach Roger Sikhakhane has revealed.

The former Chippa United coach said in a radio interview with Igagasi FM that leading the race means nothing if they don’t get to the finish line first.

“We have set a target but due to the respect we have for our opponents I will not tell that, but what I can say is that the plan for us is to keep collecting points until the other teams can no longer catch up with us,” said Sikhakhane.

“We are not concerned with what other teams are doing. The next three games will be critical for us,” he added.

Sikhakhane said all that was behind him and his focus now was on getting Amabhubesi to the finish line.

“Things have been going our way and we are happy so far. But we still have a long way to go to the end of the season, but we are happy that things are going according to plan so far,” he said.

Asked how he keeps the team focused, he said: “The question of focus has been posed since the season started when we went on an early sprint. The key is respecting every opponent we face and not thinking too much our position because we have not yet achieved anything. A good run means nothing if you don’t win at the end.”
