Tignyemb set to report Celtic to Fifa

Veteran goalkeeper Patrick Tignyemb says he will report Bloemfontein Celtic to Fifa for unfair termination of his contract.

Tignyemb was let go by Celtic after he confronted management over players’ unpaid bonuses.

It was reported that Tignyemb insulted club officials when he came to their offices to discuss the matter that had led to players boycotting training.

The Cameroonian, however, says the club did not fire him through a disciplinary committee.

“There was no DC. Nothing,” Tignyemb was quoted as saying by SunSport. “Even if you killed a person, you go to court and the judge asks you ‘why’? Then you are sentenced.

“I asked for a DC, but they refused and I said ‘thank you very much; please pay me my money’. I will fight them through Fifa. They even kicked me out of the house with my family, they said they are giving me two days to evacuate the house.”
