Musona placed on Anderlecht transfer list – report

Striker Knowledge Musona could find a new home next season as Belgian giants Anderlecht have put him on the market.

The Warriors captain failed to impress at Anderlecht since moving there from KV Oostende.

The former Kaizer Chiefs striker was loaned out to KAS Eupen in January to get game time away from the mother club. Musona’s contract with Anderlecht is set to expire in June 2022.

News coming out of Belgium suggests the striker might not return to Anderlecht at the end of the season as the club hopes a team snaps him up before the start to pre-season.

The 29-year-old had attracted interest from Sundowns in January when coach Pitso Mosimane revealed his side would try to sign the striker if he was available.

Musona is one of six players placed on the transfer list by the club.
