Or is it just an April Fool's joke?

Kick Off magazine got Mzansi talking on Saturday morning when they shared an article that axed Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba had supposedly won his legal case against Safa and would be reinstated as the national coach ahead of the side’s next assignment in June, when they take on Nigeria in an important 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The matter between Mashaba and Safa was set for arbitration in February when the parties failed to reach a resolution at the CCMA. Mashaba has been fighting the grounds of his dismissal.
However, most of their readers think it’s just an April Fool’s joke. The website does not make this clear, but as far as we know coaches never have much hope of legal recourse after being fired (because that’s football, folks).
Mashaba nevertheless did take legal action against the football association after he was sacked for “gross misconduct, insubordination and violating Safa’s communications policy” in December.
Kick Off said they had a “source” and that Safa boss Danny Jordaan would be confirming the news later on Saturday.
To make the story even more ridiculous, Kick Off added that “Baroka co-coach Kgoloko Thobejane could be drafted in to assist Mashaba in his fifth stint in the hot seat”.
