Thugs strip SuperSport goalkeeper of his valuables

SuperSport United goalkeeper Ronwen Williams rushed to the police station in Midrand after he discovered some items were missing from his house.


Williams had hired people to paint his house and fix the balcony titles, but they allegedly ended up helping themselves to some of his belongings.

The 28-year-old had a group of 10 men fixing different sections of his house for a week before he discovered over 30 football jerseys and some of his clothes were missing.

The Bafana Bafana goalkeeper says this was not the first time the 10 men had done maintenance work at his house as he had hired them in November 2019.

According to Sunday Sun, the goods stolen from the goalkeeper’s house are valued at R5,000

“I suspect the 10 African males, as they are the only people who entered my house besides family,” read an affidavit filed by Williams.

“On Wednesday 22 March in the morning, I found two tablets, three Samsung and one iPhone smartphone broken and bags which I suspect were used to carry the stuff in.”
