Kane returned from an ankle injury as a substitute last weekend at Chelsea, as Spurs made a huge stride towards a place in next year’s Uefa Champions League with a 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge.
It was Tottenham’s first victory at Chelsea in 28 years and continued their impressive domestic form in 2018.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have not lost in 13 league games, winning ten and drawing three, the longest unbeaten streak by any side in the Premier league right now, while they have also reached the FA Cup semifinals.
Tottenham will be heavy favourites to extend their excellent record at Stoke City on Saturday. They have won both of their last two games at Stoke in the league 4-0 and another rout could be on the cards for Paul Lambert’s relegation-threatened side.
Kane has also enjoyed playing Stoke of late, with an amazing eight goals in his last four league appearances against them.
Stoke have continued to struggle since Lambert took over after Mark Hughes was sacked in January. The Potters have not won in seven matches and are currently second-from-bottom in the table.
It is hard to see them getting anything out of Saturday’s meeting with Spurs though if they do, it is likely to be down to the talents of mercurial attacking midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri.
