But Chicago cubs shortstop Addison Russell more than made up it...
Some professional athletes are guilty of being out of touch with their fans but many of them do have hearts of gold.
Addison Russell, a short stop for the Chicago Cubs in the US’ Major League Baseball, is even classy enough to endear himself to his opponents’ fans.
Earlier this week, he chased a foul ball but only managed to spectacularly dive into a fan, who spilled his plate of nachos.
However, a few innings later, Russell ran out of the Cubs’ dugout with a new plate of nachos and delivered it to the fan.
He even hung around for a selfie before going to field again.
So that @Cardinals fan’s nachos Addison Russell knocked over? The @Cubs shortstop makes things right. #STLCards pic.twitter.com/m0c0TqoPyA
