VEREENIGING. – Mothers’ Day will be celebrated all over the world this Sunday, May 8. If you don’t have the time or means to treat your mother, wife or lady in your life to a holiday abroad, here’s another exciting way to travel the world, right here in the Vaal!
Footprints Restaurant & Coffee Shop in Grey Avenue 32A, Vereeniging, will spoil you and your loved ones to a “globetrotting” Mothers’ Day menu that includes a mouth-watering main course collage from all over the world such as Oxtail Pot Pie from the Floating Island in the North Sea, Chicken Galantine from France, crispy pork belly from Germany, Colcannon from Ireland and tasty stir-fry veggies from the Philippines.
The dessert montage includes a choice between Baklava from Greece, Melkkos from South Africa and Apple cobbler from America. Footprints ends this feast with a complimentary cup of coffee. All this at only R225 per head.
A Kids’ Menu is also available at R90. Little ones can choose between spaghetti bolognaise, a beef burger or macaroni and cheese, and round it off with ice cream and chocolate sauce, as well as a cooldrink.
