Even if the temperatures are reaching into the 30s, you can still find spots in Melville Koppies Nature Reserve and Heritage Site to cool you down.
Whether it’s walking through the forest, alongside the river or taking in the beautiful views, all are guaranteed to ease you into the festive season.
Melville Koppies is open on Sunday mornings from 08:00 until 11:30.
Guide yourself along the many paths, test your fitness on the 5km hike or teach yourself about the history of the Koppies on the self-guided heritage trail.

Entry fees cost R80 for adults and R40 for children.
All income is used for maintenance of the Koppies.
Security on the Koppies is provided and visitors can park in secure parking opposite the Melville Koppies entrance at Marks Park in Judith Road, Emmarentia.
