MEYERTON. – Raising the bar comes naturally to the High Performance Cricket Academy. The HPCA based in Meyerton recently proved this with 12 of its players making the various provincial teams that will participate in the respective national and Geo Cricket weeks in December.

The club also showed their mettle by finishing second in the Randburg 100 Ball Tournament. The team scored the highest total 254/2 in the history of the tournament with Dean Coetzer scoring 154 off 49 deliveries. Coetzer was also crowned as the Player of the Tournament.
