WALKERVILLE. – A father and son were left injured this morning following an armed robbery at a farm in Walkerville.

The incident is said to have happened at Walker Fruit Farms.

According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, paramedics arrived on the scene to find the local CPF members already in attendance.

On closer inspection, medics found a father and son seated outside the residence.

Medics assessed the two and found that each had sustained a gunshot wound to their upper leg, leaving the father in a serious condition while the son was in a stable condition.

The patients were treated for their injuries and the father provided with pain-relief medication before they were transported to a private hospital for further care.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known.
