You stand a chance to win R5 000 if you nominate a worthy finalist

Ladies, are you ready for the Vaal Mall Woman’s Month Competition with prizes valued at R125 000? Many women view themselves as ordinary without realising how special they truly are...they are extraordinary and show their strength, love and compassion in so many ways every day.

And now you have the opportunity to nominate a special woman in your life who has done something extraordinary, big or small, during the lockdown period. It will be the competition organisers’ pleasure to spoil both the worthy nominee and nominator with gratitude and gifts!
Enter your nominations at the Vaal Mall Information Desk from July 24 until August 20.
Carla de Villiers-Malan from Vaal Mall, Brandan Erxleben, owner of The Styling Loft and Renita Lombard from Renita Lombard Productions created this concept to acknowledge those ladies who always put the needs of others in front of their own, with extraordinary makeovers.
“We will use media platforms like 90.6 FM, Ster and Vaalweekblad to ensure that we reach as many people as possible in the Vaal. We would like to reach out to our Vaal Triangle Community and help us to nominate unselfish ladies who have been doing their bit to make life a little easier for the less fortunate in the Vaal,” says Renita.

You stand a chance to win R5 000 if you nominate a worthy finalist. Entry forms must be handed in at the Vaal Mall Info Kiosk or The Styling Loft at 1 Macowen Street, SE 2 from Friday, July 24.

The organisers will choose eight finalists during August, when we celebrate Women’s Month. Each entry form must include telephone numbers of the nominee as well as the nominator, and a description of why the lady is an extraordinary woman. The eight finalists and the persons who nominated them will be treated to a lovely meal at Turn n Tender in the Vaal Mall and lots of other fabulous prizes. Read more about the prizes and prize sponsors in this week’s edition of Vaalweekblad.
* Due to the strict regulations of COVID-19, all makeovers will be done and revealed on social media platforms. The participants’ safety is of highest concern. For more information about the entry forms, keep an eye on Sedibeng Ster & Vaalweekblad Facebook pages and Public Groups.
More information is also available from Carla (016 910-0100), Brandan (079 449 6906) or Renita (082 416 1710).
