“We would like to help JF get the best treatment and possibly be transferred from Vaalpark hospital to another hospital because he has to undergo a very large operation,” JF’s cousin, Amanda Dos Santos said in a Facebook post.
“Because of the Covid-19 impact on his parent’s jobs and finances, they had lost their medical insurance. He urgently needs an operation(s) to his leg, rehabilitation”.
JF’s family has launched “JF’s LUCKY DRAW” to help with funding for his treatment.
According to the family all funds will be donated to JF’s surgery and medical expenses.
Tickets are R50 a ticket and can be purchased at Kara’s Vetkoekden in Vanderbijlpark or Sasolburg.
“EFT can be used to buy tickets. Please use your contact number and the number of the Lucky Draw for which you want to buy a ticket. There will be 10 different prizes and you can buy a ticket for the one of your choice.”
The closing date for ticket sales is October 10, 2020.
