ER24 paramedics were called to a block of flats in the Brandwag area. On arrival, medics found numerous law enforcement officers in attendance. A large crowd had already gathered around a man found lying on the floor. Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained only minor injuries. The man was treated and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further care. After a short time, medics were called to Kriege Street for a related incident. On arrival, medics found a man lying in the road with a significant head injury. Unfortunately, the man had already succumbed to his numerous injury. Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead. Once the medics had left the scene on Kriege Street, they were called once again to the flats in Brandwag. On the scene, law enforcement was busy dispersing a large crowd that had gathered. Medics assessed a man found lying near the flats and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.
