Vereeniging police station temporarily closed due to Covid- 19 related incident

VEREENIGING.- All communities serviced by the Vereeniging police station are advised that the police station has been temporarily closed for decontamination after incidents of positive Covid- 19 tests.

Police spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda said the Community Service Centre will be operating from the reservists’ offices next to Sasol garage c/o Voortrekker and Smuts streets. The community is advised to call 10111 for all emergencies and complaints which needs to be attended by the Vereeniging police station.

The telephone lines at Vereeniging police station Community Service Centre will not be accessible for the duration of closure.

The building will be undergoing decontamination and will be back to normal on Wednesday, 13 January 2021. The SAPS Management apologises for any inconvenience caused by the closure. The station can be contacted on the following numbers:
