Charity sale held for the benefit of homeless people

Active Angels, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting homeless communities, is having a charity sale at River Square Shopping Centre to raise funds to help people in need.

VEREENIGING. – The team from Active Angels will be in front of the Mr Price Home store at the mall selling handmade upcycled items.

According to Magda Lourens, founder of Active Angels a R20 spent at the charity sale could help feed a whole family.

Any food, linen, household items, recyclable material as well as cash donations will also be greatly appreciated.

The Active Angels team will be at the mall on Friday (09:00 – 18:00), Saturday (09:00 – 17:00) and Sunday (09:00 -14:00).
