Vereeniging police station closed due to Covid-19 related incident

Telephone lines at Vereeniging police station Community Service Centre (CSC) will not be accessible for the duration of closure.

VEREENIGING. – The Vereeniging police station will undergo decontamination on Monday and Tuesday after one member tested positive for Covid- 19.

Police spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda says, “All communities serviced by the Vereeniging police station are advised that the police station has been temporarily closed.

“The Community Service Centre will be operating from the reservists offices next to Sasol garage on the corner of Voortrekker and Smuts streets.”

Funda advises the community to call 10111 for emergencies and complaints which need to be attended by the Vereeniging police station.

“Telephone lines at Vereeniging police station Community Service Centre (CSC) will not be accessible for the duration of closure. The SAPS Management apologises for any inconvenience caused by the closure.”

The station will operate from Wednesday June 08.
