VANDERBIJLPARK. – Bill Slater (77), a true gentleman and a legend in every sense of the word lost his battle against Covid today. Information is still a bit sketchy at the moment but according to DJ Slater his uncle passed away earlier today.

Bill Slater was one of the founding members of the Slater Health Group which under the guidance of him and his brothers, Doug and Rocky, became a household name in the Vaal Triangle. Despite being an astute businessman he also made a huge impact and contribution to bodybuilding in South Africa.  Bill and his wife, Vicky were inducted as honorary life members of Bodybuilding South Africa.
