Star Nissan’s New Navara has landed… on ‘Mars’!
The new Navara is indeed something out of this world!

Star Nissan’s clients have come to know the Group for being prepared to go to the moon and back for their customers.
This vehicle dealer never quivers in the face of a challenge and now has even put a vehicle “on Mars” to focus everyone’s attention on the all-new Nissan Navara!
When Vaal Triangle car lovers heard Star Nissan had chosen the hauntingly beautiful night scene at Water on Waldrift Guest Farm outside Vereeniging as backdrop for the launch, they just knew there was another spectacular show coming up.
The event took place on 24 June amidst cheerful bonfires under the bomas and winter stars, with scenes of the planet Mars on a big screen. True to their reputation to surprise, Star Nissan arranged that the new Navara be lowered to the ground with a large crane at precisely the right moment, creating the mind-blowing impression that the vehicle had landed on the Red Planet!
The new Navara is indeed something out of this world. According to respected vehicle reviewers, it delivers the ultimate customer experience. Although it is still the trusted Navara clients have used as workhorses or adventure vehicles for many years, the entire new range of models has been re-engineered to produce a Navara that’s perfectly suited to South African and ultimately, African conditions.
It boasts significant technical and cosmetic upgrades over its predecessor, such as rugged new styling, fresh technology, improved safety and enhanced performance – and all of these without sacrificing comfort and luxury.

The new Nissan Navara options include single and double-cab, 2WD and 4WD. Both are available in automatic and manual transmission. It is powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine, which caters to customers’ requirements for low running costs, reliability and performance. A naturally aspirated petrol engine, also a 2.5-litre, is available on the entry grade XE Single Cab.
The inclusion of Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) makes the new range the most technologically advanced Navara yet – and the safest too.
“We can’t wait for our customers to get behind the wheel and test drive this brand new descendent in the Navara family’s stable. We are extremely proud of this truly world-class vehicle that Nissan has worked so tirelessly towards building. We just know that our customers will create many memorable journeys in the new Navara,” says Edwin Strauss, CEO of Star Nissan.
