Sasolburg Girl Guides plant trees in memory of loved ones

During Arbor Week at the beginning of September the Sasolburg Girl Guides took the opportunity to plant two trees at the Bongani Mabaso Eco Park in Sasolburg. The public were encouraged to plant a tree in memory of someone.

“We planted one tree in memory of Laura Brice (2019) and Adult Leader that have passed away over the years. The second tree was in memory of two guide members Karabo Mbele (2017) and Busi Mpembe (2020).” says Irmgard Penzhorn, the Guide Leader of the Sasolburg Girl Guides.

None of the above mentioned that passed away was due to Covid-19.
