Many reasons to be Proud in Three Rivers!
"We really need your help to keep maintaining Three Rivers for the benefit of us all!" - Proudly Three Rivers
Vereeniging. – The Proudly Three Rivers Team, along with residents from the area, can look back at a year filled with several success stories. Many potholes were filled and roads repaired, loads of rubbish were removed and some faded traffic signs on the road surface were refreshed
The Proudly Three Rivers team has this year completed, amongst others, major repair work on the street opposite the shops and businesses in Berg Street. This effort cost them over R35 000 and took more than a week to complete.
Proudly Three Rivers’ organisers thank the group of ladies calling themselves “The Lockdown Walkers” who walk in and around Three Rivers, for using their time allocated for exercise to clean the suburb.
“We have noticed you carrying a huge backpack and all along your walking route picking up rubbish. You ladies are awesome and a shining example of proud residents who know that making a difference starts with each of us doing our bit to keep the environment clean. Proudly Three Rivers salutes you and thanks you!”
Proudly Three Rivers requests all businesses in the area who are not yet supporting this community group financially, to do so by obtaining a debit order form from their Facebook page, or by emailing info@proudly3rivers.co.za to request a form. You can also visit the Proudly Three Rivers’ office opposite the Riversquare Post Office entrance in the mornings (reopening on January 3, 2022), or call the office at 060 562 0816.

- Proudly Three Rivers has been receiving financial support from Sky Sands since October 2020, after requests were made to assist them in clearing sand spillage emanating from the Sky Sands works at Panfontein. The Proudly team has during 2021 used this support to work beyond their area to clean up the bridge on the Redan road, as many of Proudly Three River’s members use this road on a regular basis. The results look terrific! The organisation thanks Sky Sands for their continued support
