GAUTENG – Members of the Sedibeng K9 unit arrested a suspect in Vanderbijlpark for dealing in drugs on Saturday.

SAPS reports that the man was found in possession of drugs with an estimated street value of R50 000.

“While out conducting Crime Prevention duties, members of Sedibeng K9 unit detected suspicious activity in the area of Vanderbijlpark.

“Members subsequently conducted a stop and search which led them to recover drugs in the form of Crystal Meth in the suspect’s possession.”

It is reported that further investigation continued at the suspect’s home address where members recovered various types of drugs and drug equipment.

The suspect is expected to appear in court soon.
