What’s for dinner? Beef spaghetti Bolognese!

Everyone needs a basic spaghetti Bolognese recipe that still tastes great, no matter how simple. And this recipe is it!

 

Don’t know what to serve for dinner tonight? Here’s an old favorite that is always enjoyed by young and old alike!

Spaghetti Bolognese!

Serves 6 – 8

You’ll need: Harvestime Diced Carrots; 1kg beef mince; 2 tablespoons oil; 1 large onion diced; 3 teaspoons chopped garlic; 3 teaspoons dried mixed herbs; 700ml canned chopped tomatoes; 1 tablespoon tomato paste; 1 cup chicken stock; grated cheese; 1 packet Spaghetti – cooked; salt and pepper to taste.

How to: 

In a large pot, add oil and fry the onion until translucent. Add the beef mince and break up the lumps.

Mix well – allow to cook until the water dries. Add the garlic and dried mixed herbs and mix well.

Add the tomato paste, chopped tomatoes and stock and mix well – cook for 10 minutes. Add the diced carrots and allow to cook until thickened about 15 – 20 minutes.

Remove from the heat. Serve with spaghetti and top with grated cheese.
