Police launch inquest after discovery of man’s body in Sharpeville

Police are appealing to members of the community who might know anyone who fits the description of the deceased to contact Detective Sergeant Mandla Malinga on 063 667 4970.

SHARPEVILLE. – The police have launched an Inquest case docket following the discovery of a body of a man in Phomolong section, Sharpeville. The discovery was made on Sunday morning.

Police received a call from members of the community about a lifeless body of an African male in his 40s.

Police spokesperson Constable Busiswe Sango says, “On arrival police found the body of an African male in his mid-40s without any visible  injuries.

“The deceased was wearing a white blazer, black Jersey, blue trousers, and white sneakers.”

Police are appealing to  members of the community who might know anyone who fits the description of the deceased to contact Detective Sergeant Mandla Malinga on 063 667 4970.
