Mandela Day: Walkathon from Bophelong to the Nelson Mandela House, Soweto
This year's Mandela Day theme calls on everyone to "Do what you can, with what you have, wherever you are!" That's exactly what Hashtag Rekaofela Kasie did.
VANDERBIJLPARK.- The walk may have taken over 67 minutes but Hashtag Rekaofela Kasie in partnership with Bophelong Centre of Youth walked from Bophelong in Vanderbijlpark to the Nelson Mandela House in Soweto.
The 60km fundraising walkathon from Bophelong to the Nelson Mandela House took off just after 07h00 on Monday morning.
The walk was led by Hashtag Rekaofela Kasie in partnership with Bophelong Centre of Youth.
