Cairo Moon Dance Studio rakes in medals at SA’s

Congratulations to dancers from Cairo Moon who achieved high placings at the SA Performing Arts Championships and the Line Dance SA Masters!

VANDERBIJLPARK. – Senior dancers from Cairo Moon Dance Studio, well-known for training of Belly, Greek and Line dancing styles, recently achieved high placings at the South African Performing Arts Championships and the Line Dance SA Masters held in Rustenburg.

The dance troupe achieved a Silver (2nd place) overall in the dance open over 25+ category, and Silver (2nd place) in the Group Folklore and Ethnic over 25 years category.

The individual dancers achieved the following solo medals:

Hannelie Becher: Bronze (3rd).

Nicolene Smuts and Martheleen Swanepoel: Silver (shared 2nd place).

Marina Basson: Gold (1st) and Overall female winner in the 25+ age category.

The Line Dance senior competitor, Daleen Scheepers, achieved a spectacular 5th place overall at the SA World CDF Line Dance competition.

Cairo Moon has studios in the Vaal Triangle, Pretoria and Port Elizabeth. The studio offers professional dance training classes, social dance classes as well as fitness and dance healing modalities.
