YOU can be the GTCoC’s next Business Person of the Year!

Business persons who wish to enter the competition are invited to attend the GTCoC members meeting on May 17 at 12:00 at the Barnyard in Vereeniging

 

It is with great excitement that the Golden Triangle Chamber of Business (GTCOC) will launch its annual Junior Business Man and Junior Business Woman Competition on May 17.
Business persons younger than 35 years of age that have a registered business in the Vaal Triangle are welcome to enter.The annual GTCoC Junior Business Man and Business Woman Award sets out to acknowledge young individuals for their dedication, effort and creative vision to build a sustainable business in the Vaal Triangle, despite the challenges of a slow growing economy. The individuals must also make a visible difference in the community.
The competition is anchored in the concept to identify, encourage and reward excellence and competitiveness of young business owners in the region.
Aspects that will be taken into consideration include whether entrants have strong leadership skills, a sense of commitment to the local community at large, and the impact the business has on the community.
The winners of the Junior Business Man and Junior Business Women Competition 2023 will later this year be honoured at the prestigious annual Golden Triangle Chamber of Commerce gala event for their contribution to the Vaal’ s business and general community.
Business persons who wish to enter are invited to attend the GTCoC members meeting on May 17 at 12:00 at the Barnyard in Vereeniging, where the competition will be officially launched. More information about the competition will also be shared on the day. The cost to attend the meeting is R120 per person, which includes a light lunch.
