Road closed after fatal accident on R59

One person has died, and two others sustained minor injuries following a severe collision between a light motor vehicle and a truck (apparently a tanker) on the R59 near the Vaalpark off-ramp.
The truck reportedly caught fire shortly after impact.
The R59 between Sasolburg and Vereeniging is currently closed in both directions while emergency crews handle accident investigations, recovery, and road cleanup.
