Cat saved after being stuck in a tree

VEREENIGING. - The SPCA often have to come to the rescue of cats that believe higher is better, but once they find themselves very high up in a tree, they suffer from fear of height and can’t bring themselves to come down.

“This leaves us in a predicament and our staff often have to put themselves at risk to help these poor animals,” says Marlien de Klerk, manager of the Vereeniging/Vanderbijpark SPCA.
Scaling great heights is not really part of the job description of the SPCA officials, and they also do not have the right equipment. But because of their commitment and love for animals, they perform this task in any case … even though they are shaking and shivering with fear.
Sometimes when a cat is too high, they will put out a plea for assistance. Talisman Hire in Vanderbijlpark has been the hero in situations like this many times.
“A very distraught young lady called the SPCA to help get her beloved cat out of a tree. Her cat had been chased up a very tall palm tree and was stuck. Between the cat crying and the mom crying they touched our hearts and we immediately called on the help of Talisman Hire Vanderbijlpark,” says Marlien.
“Please save me”.
Talisman Hire Vanderbijlpark came to the rescue.
And once again Talisman Hire Vanderbijlpark came to the rescue. It was a high risk rescue, but the cat was returned safely to the waiting arms of mom.
“If you look at the picture of mom and cat being reunited you have to feel the greatness of the moment. Thank you to Talisman Hire Vanderbijlpark,” says Marlien.
PS: The kitty is now under house arrest for a while.
Back in mom’s loving arms.
