VEREENIGING. – The Summit aims to create an enabling environment where local farmers, businesses, and key stakeholders in the agricultural industry can come together to find lasting solutions to sector challenges.

This year’s summit represents a unique opportunity for learning, exchanging opinions, and expanding one’s network enabled by live presentations followed by dynamic Q&A sessions – providing the attendees with valuable insights.

The event will also profile the farmers within the Sedibeng Region and to resuscitate the agricultural sector, described as the “food basket of Gauteng Province”.

By virtue of being a food basket with huge agricultural and tourism potential, the Sedibeng District Municipality will be focusing on its comparative advantage and also market its competitive advantages.

This will enable the district to not only compete in the local market, but to contribute to the Provincial Growth Domestic Product and be active in the global market.

The summit will take place on 19 July 2023 Fresh Produce Market in Vereeniging from 09:00 to 16:00.
