Ready to shake things up at World Hip Hop Dance Championship

Curro Vanderbijlpark is brimming with pride! Talented hip hop dancer Kelebogile Lithuge (Grade 12) has been chosen to represent SA at the World Hip Hop Dance Championships in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

This championship is regarded as the world’s most celebrated dance event. Over three thousand of the world’s best dancers will come together for the World Hip Hop Dance Championship, an event true to the real values of hip hop culture.

Crews from 55+ countries will compete to capture the world title and international bragging rights while hip hop icons, artists and celebrities make appearances and perform.

Above all, dancers meet others from around the world equally passionate about hip hop culture and dance. The event is advertised to take place from July 30 to August 6.

Mrs. De Bruin (Head of Culture) at Curro presented Kelebogile’s South African attire last week at the school.

Vaalweekblad along with the rest of Curro would like to wish Kelebogile and his crew the best of luck!
