Entries for Mr, Miss and Mrs Diamond of the Vaal Pageant closes May 1.
Prizes to the value of R300 000 are at stake. Category winners will walk away with R5 000 and the runners-up with R2 000 each.
The various categories are:
Miss Petite Diamond of the Vaal ( 5-11 years)
Mr & Miss Teen Diamond of the Vaal (13-17 years)
Miss Diamond of the Vaal (18-24 years)
Mr Diamond of the Vaal (18-32 years)
Mrs Diamond of the Vaal (married or divorced ladies, aged 25-45 years)
All the semi-finalists will be involved in charity drives, workshops and shows over the next few months, of which the highlight will be the Vaal Fashion Week shows and Vaal Designer of the Year.
The Vaal Fashion Week and Vaal Designer of the Year will be held at River Square Shopping Centre in Vereeniging.
Outfits for the Mr, Miss and Mrs Diamond of the Vaal gala event on September 7, will be sponsored by the best designers of the Vaal.
