Seniors connecting with frail residents at Jeugland Home for the Aged

Senior persons visited the Jeugland Frail Care on Wednesday 11 December 2024 gifting residents with treats.
The main objective of the outing was for the seniors to bond with the residents of Jeugland’s Frail Care and to communicate a message of love and hope. Jeugland Home for the Aged has been rendering professional and comprehensive 24-hour nursing services to vulnerable seniors, since 1977.
The frail care unit houses approximately 53 residents. The seniors explained that many of the residents never receive visitors. By being generous and giving back to our community we can make a big difference in this world. Generosity promotes self-esteem and life satisfatction. It provides a natural sense of achievement.
The seniors who supported the project are Denise Anderson and Anna Lombaard.
