VANDERBIJLPARK – Sancta Maria Junior School had a ball on March 20, when they held one of their biggest events to date.

The Soapbox Cart Race 2025 has thus far been the highlight of the year for many students, staff members, and parents.

The day started with a parade where people witnessed the amazing creativity and originality of the day’s costumes.

After the parade, the real action began. “Thank you to all our sponsors and parents who contributed towards a successful day,” said the school.

What would a Soapbox race be without teachers and parents giving it a go? Some had to hold on for dear life, but all in all, everybody had a great time with no serious injuries.
