SASOLBURG .– He was a no-popular person, practicing his art from a small shack in Sasolburg. When his time to shine came, he exploded to national news, doing interviews left right, and center.

His recognition become a big thing as he started doing paint jobs for celebrities and expanding his business to the outside world. His story motivated up-and-coming individuals from all walks of life.

Now Ennock Mlangeni is motivated back, by a student photographer who saw his work trending on social media after capturing an image of his niece Lethukukhanya Mjaji aka ‘Miss Albany’ girl.

Three-year-old, Lethukukhanya became popular after her uncle, Lungisani Mjaji shot viral images of her.

Mjaji is a commercial photography student from Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).

Mjaji’s popular photo is part of a project called “My Footprint,” which aims to capture the beauty of South Africa’s rural landscapes.

For Mlangeni, Mjaji’s story took him back to a time before his work blew up.

He documented himself drawing a portrait of Mjaji’s niece and shared his views in the caption.

“This story touched me and inspired me a lot because it’s relatable to my art journey. what a time to be alive! This has to be one of the best stories to unfold from a series of pictures captured by Lungisani Mjaji. A realistic and true reflection of daily realities” said Mlangeni.
