MEYERTON.- SAPS Meyerton has appealed to the community for assistance in tracing a suspect in connection with a case of rape.

In a statement  the police said on Saturday, 29 July 2023, a female learner (19) was returning home from Meyerton High School after attending extra classes, when she was offered a lift from the suspect.

“He drove a blue quantum taxi with ‘PEP’ stickers on the side of the vehicle. The suspect drove her to a shack where he threatened her with a firearm and raped her.”
