VEREENIGING – The South African Police Service (SAPS) held a successful community Meet and Greet event at River Square Shopping Centre on November 12, 2024.

The event, hosted in the parking area outside Entrance Two, welcomed community members to enjoy a cup of coffee and connect with local SAPS officers, fostering open conversations on community safety and collaboration.

This gathering offered residents a platform to discuss their concerns directly with SAPS officers, address local safety issues, and collectively brainstorm solutions to enhance neighbourhood security.

The event underscored the importance of partnerships between law enforcement, security companies, local businesses, and the community in creating a safer environment for all.
