GP COGTA MEC engages ELM senior management in urgent meeting

The general state of service delivery in Emfuleni was discussed in the meeting.

VANDERBIJLPARK.- Gauteng Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) MEC Jacob Mamabolo, joined by Sedibeng District Municipality (SDM) Executive Mayor Lerato Maloka and Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) Executive Mayor, Sipho Radebe, held an urgent meeting with senior managers from COGTA, DID, and ELM to tackle waste collection challenges in the municipality.

A statement issued by ELM said that Mamabolo was explicit in requesting support from Radebe, MMCs, organised labour, ELM Municipal Manager (MM), April Ntuli, and his Executive Directors to unite behind a program of cleaning the municipality.
