This brings the number of parks opened since the beginning of the current term in 2021 to 16.

“These developments are part of our broader vision to improve community well-being by creating enjoyable, inclusive spaces that bring people together and promote a healthy lifestyle.”

The newly opened Sicelo Park boasts kiddies’ play equipment, outdoor gym facilities, a full combi court, fencing, and informative signboards. Similarly, the Kliprivier Park now offers children’s play equipment, outdoor gym equipment, a half-court, fencing, and signboards to guide and inform visitors.

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance these recreational spaces, MLM plans to introduce further upgrades like irrigation systems, benches, grass planting, and tree planting, depending on budget availability.
