VAAL TRIANGLE – Parkrun South Africa has released a list of events planning to host runs on New Year’s Day, giving runners and volunteers a chance to kick off 2026 on a healthy note.

Locally, Pont De Val, Meyerton, and Sasolburg Stadium parkruns are expected to take part.

However, start times and confirmations have not yet been officially posted. Runners and volunteers are encouraged to follow each parkrun’s Facebook page for the latest updates.
