Time Trial Champions crowned at 2026 SA Nationals in Midvaal

Pure power and precision defined the opening day of South Africa’s national time trials in Midvaal.

WALKERVILLE – South Africa’s top cyclists kicked off the 2026 National Road and Time Trial Championships with thrilling individual time trials on Midvaal’s roads.

Stefan de Bod claimed the Elite Men Time Trial title, while Ashleigh Moolman dominated the Elite Women Time Trial, showcasing power, precision, and focus on the race of truth.

After the time trials, attention turns to the elite road races, with the women tackling 143.2 km on Saturday, February 8 at 09:30, and the men racing 185.8 km on Sunday, February 9 at 12:30, both on the challenging 14.7 km Midvaal circuit.
