Burgers for elderly residents at Mimi Fourie Hof
Seventy-five burgers and fries were delivered to Mimi Fourie Hof as part of a Spur-sponsored community meal initiative.
VEREENIGING – Residents of Mimi Fourie Hof, council flats for the elderly in central Vereeniging, received a donation of 75 burgers recently.
The donation was made possible by Maverick Spur at River Square in partnership with The Serve to Grow Foundation.
Volunteers collected the meals and helped distribute them to residents.
According to the foundation, the initiative was aimed at supporting elderly residents and bringing comfort to those in need.
Representatives from both Maverick Spur and the foundation attended the handover.
