VEREENIGING – Fresh off her international outing at the Automóvel & Touring Clube de Moçambique (ATCM) track in Maputo last month, Vaal-born motorsport sensation Morgan Jacobs (18) is set to hit the track this weekend for Round 5 of the 2026 Regional Extreme Festival Championship.

Morgan and younger brother Zander had a wonderful time in Mozambique, although Morgan’s car wasn’t running smoothly, and it was decided to retire her VW Carado for the weekend.

Although disappointed, Morgan’s spirits remained high as she cheered on Zander. In the final heat of his division, he started 3rd and held his position to claim overall third place, winning the A+ class for the day.

Zander drove his Opel Tigra in Mozambique and will be racing again on September 26 at Zwartkops.

Now in just her second year on the long circuit, Morgan drives for Pablo Clark Racing / EasyEquities as part of their development team.

Behind the wheel of her BMW E46, she claimed her first trophy in July against a highly competitive field of fellow BMW drivers.

When she isn’t racing, this young lady is building her professional career as a Property Practitioner at Platinum Properties in Vereeniging.

“During what felt like a long winter break, Morgan kept her edge sharp by putting in continuous work on the simulator and training with her sports psychologist,” says her proud mother, Camilla.

The day promises to be a full day of family fun, including pit lane access to meet the drivers, live music, a DJ, gourmet food stalls, drifting demonstrations, and high-octane racing.
