Integrated multi-sectoral forces executed weekly planned and coordinated policing actions and law enforcement activities across the Free State, which resulted in 1 099 arrests.

Roleplayers and stakeholders executed 6 032 high-visibility patrols, 231 vehicle checkpoints, 19 roadblocks, and 1 324 stop-and-search activities; during which 41 791 persons, 14 004 motor vehicles, and 684 premises were searched.

The teams also inspected licensed liquor premises (647), second-hand dealers (158), visited scrapyards and recyclers (59), formal businesses such as hospitality and retail/ informal businesses such as spaza shops to ensure labor law compliance with the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labour (997), as well as farm visits (2 559).

Wanted suspects were arrested during tracing and tracking operations by Provincial detectives for serious crimes such as murder (7), attempted murder (12), rape (38), other (18), assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (75), and house robbery (1).

There were also arrests made for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition/contravention of the Firearms Control Act (10), dealing in drugs (30), possession of illicit cigarettes (6), and illegal dealing in liquor (10).
