VANDERBIJLPARK. – Hard work does pay off.
Zoe Tasak, a student at North-West University’s Vanderbijlpark Campus, can attest to that.
The 23-year-old Tasak is a full-time post-graduate education student and booked her place for the IFBB World Championships in Korea from 17 to 23 October after winning the Junior Bikini and Ladies Bikini u/163cm divisions at the South African Bodybuilding Championships in Randburg.
“This will be my first time traveling abroad, I am so excited to embark on this amazing journey. This opportunity has by far exceeded my wildest dreams,” says Tasak.
After winning the University Sport South Africa Bodybuilding tournament this year NWU Vaal’s bodybuilders went from strength to strength. Kevin Ayanda Nkosi of NWU Vaal made a wonderful debut in the Men’s Classic Physique winning both his lineups at the Sedibeng Championships and following it up with a national title. Dhanen Pillay of Vereeniging will also be going to Spain from 2 to 7 November for the World Championships taking place after qualifying in the Men’s Physique u/174cm.
