MEYERTON. – The High-Performance Cricket Academy (HPCA) is going from strength to strength.
HPCA set a record in the Vaal last year for having 21 players selected to represent their respective regions in different age groups from u/9’s all the way up to u/19.
Building on that performance HPCA has managed to record 30 players this year who were selected for their respective regional teams.
Five of them (Waldo McLean: Free State u/13),
Righardt Kruger, Jacques Oosthuizen, Todd Franken and Giangi Moricco (U12 Gauteng South).
According to Nash Chaeruka head coach at HPCA he is very pleased with the results.
The players who made the respective regional teams are:
u/9: Logan De Jager, Raymond Pretorius, and MJ Chagutah. u/10: Zehan Spangenberg and
Nathan Englebrecht. u/11: Aiden van Heerden. u/12: Divan van der Bergh. u/15: Tristan Ashwin.
u/16: Dev Maisuriya.
